Riding day on the mountain. Hydrate, warm up your legs and breath (Mammoth is located at a high altitude of 12.000 Feet. We will play, learn, dance on snow and learn some sweet grabs and maybe even rotations. After an epic day on the mountain join yoga, meditation and Breathwork sessions to stay on top of your game.
Wake up with a morning meditation / breathwork and yoga movement class. Enjoy the chef prepared breakfast before we start the avi 1 training at the lodge. Today we will also head out on a backcountry adventure. Pack lunch at breakfast. Maybe you feel uncertain for your first day in the mountains? Don't worry, we will be supported with safety and local knowledge by professional guiding service, Sierra Mountain Guides. After the tour we head back to the lodge and enjoy dinner, jacuzzi, meditation and yoga.
This is day two of the AIARE 1 course. Some might have sore legs by now. Make sure to hydrate properly each evening and through the day. Sierra Mountain Guides will come to our lodge and we start the day in the "class room" - in th e afternoon we will go on a tour. Sierra Mountain Guides will choose the location - based on safety, weather and snow conditions and off course to get you the best snow. After the tour we head back to the lodge.
By now you should be getting more connected, comfortable and familiar with your gear, your guides, the mountains and your fellow soul sisters. Pack lunch from the beautiful breakfast buffet and bring good vibes. Don't forget that you want to stay alert, present and focused. Because the mountain does not forgive. The morning Breathwork session will help sharpen your breath and mind, and allow you to tune more in and be where your feet and body is.
In order to keep an active lifestyle and momentum forward we all need to rejuvenate and find a healthy balance. That's why we make sure to combine yin and yang activities at our retreats. This day moves at a slower pace - so you can focus on giving back to your body after it has been taking you on all those epic outside adventures. Create space to go within, reflect, retrospect and listen to the silence. Between each thought there is so much peace.

We have created this very special (sober) meditative dance experience for you to connect with your body and soul. This deeper connection to self through movement will create an even stronger (unspoken) bond to your fellow soul sisters. Prepare to dance like nobody is watching. Wear something comfortable and layers that you can take off is not a bad idea. After the dance we gather for our last (but not least memorable) gratitude dinner. We share experiences from the week (MAGICAL MOMENTS) and enjoy the heartfelt prepared meals from our chef Rachel at the lodge.
Every journey eventually comes to an end. And even though we don't love saying good bye, we do appreciate the emotions, highs and lows that comes with a retreat like this. Make sure you pack up early enough to catch your ride/ flight home without stressing. We would love for you to bring home with you all the "ness" feelings; grounded-ness, peaceful-ness and present-ness.

SUGGESTIONS FOR TRAVEL: Option 1: Fly to Bishop Airport. Flights from LAX or San Fransisco. From here you can take a shuttle to get to Mammoth Village. Flight carriers: United Airlines Option 2: Fly to Los Angeles (LAX) or and rent a car or take a shuttle (approx. 5 hours). We personally love this drive, you move out of the city, through the desert, past Mt. Whitney and into the Sierras! The contrast is enjoyable. Option 3: Fly into Reno (shuttle is approx. 3 hours) Option 4: Fly to San Francisco (approx. 6 hours to Mammoth)
I still can’t quite put in to words what I’ve taken away from this week. Meeting incredible inspiring women, in a spectacular location, skiing and surfing surrounded by the best views and nature, international friends made, interesting and relevant workshops and new meditation and breathwork practices and techniques (taught in a really accessible everyday way!). Kjersti and Chanelle bring a buzz and energy to everything they do and it was such a pleasure to get to spend a week with them, ride with them and learn from their experience.
The Lofoten islands are a special place and the perfect backdrop for the PRSNT women’s splitboarding retreat. You meet incredible snow loving women who encourage and cheer you on as you climb and descend down the magical mountains. One of my favorite things about the retreats is the nightly "Magical Moments" where you get to hear from each individual what their days highlight was. Great experience.
The earlier the better, even a day or two prior to get settled into the new timezone is ideal. Programming will start on the afternoon of arrival day.
Credit cards are easily accepted by all vendors, no cash is needed. * Fun Fact: We always travel with a small cash stash in case power goes out when in route and we want a sandwich ;)
From Mammoth Airport take a shuttle or rent a car. Car Pool with other retreaters is always best. From LAX you can take a shuttle or rent a car
Sign up directly on our page. We accept most forms of credit card to secure a deposit / your spot. The remaining payment needs to be completed within 6 weeks of the start of the retreat to preserve your spot.
We no longer offer this option, as we found it attracted novice experience and we want the group to move smoothly on-hill together. If you have touring experience but need or want to rent gear we suggest renting at home or reaching out to Sierra Mountain Guides to see if they have Ski Touring gear available to rent.
From Mammoth Airport there should be shuttles to the village.

Absolutely! The majority of our campers fly solo, but they leave with some sincerely awesome new sisters.
Fly into Los Angeles (LAX) or San Francisco. You can also travel by plane all the way to Mammoth or to Reno.
