A soulful journey through the arctic with a community of international soul sisters .
BOOK NOWJoin us for an all-inclusive arctic adventure in the Lofoten Islands of Northern Norway! We plan to explore this untouched nature with a band of international soul sisters. Curated and hosted by Chanelle Sladics and Kjersti Buaas. World-class professional snowboarders hailing from opposite sides of the world. This experience have been carefully curated for you to discover the culture in Norway, climb mountain peaks, ride/ski arctic snow, and catch some waves with the backdrop of snow-covered mountains. Restore your spirit through daily breathwork, sauna + fjord dips, and the healing power of this exotic nature. This retreat is designed for those seeking a mix of adventure while diving deeper into your meditation practice. Expect to breathe deep with your new soul sisters from around the world and improve your mountain touring skills with inspiring guides and hosts. We interweave PRSNT mindfulness exercises on and off the mountain, in hopes you will find new creative ways to be more PRSNT in your daily life at home. *Ski/Snowboard Touring Level: Must bring your own gear and basic knowledge on how to ski/snowboard tour and manage your AVI safety gear. Intermediate fitness level to keep the group moving and groovy together on hill. *Surf Level : Can be a beginner for the arctic surfing lesson.
We were attracted to each other for the many passions we share, like outdoor adventures, healthy living, creating community, and an urge to protect our natural playgrounds.
We will always strive to make adjustments to optimize the experience based on weather and conditions. Every day we incorporate breathwork and PRSNT minded practices...Here is our Activity Schedule for the week. Click NEXT to see all days

Nyvågar
This historical place was one of the biggest fishing villages in the early 1800 and many fishermen from all over Norway would stay here during the fishing season. The traditional fishing boats are now changed with powder skis and today we are hunting soft snow and amazing views.
Northern Alpine Guides are professional guides and passionate skiers, surfers and climbers and we host people from all over the world. With many years of experience in the outdoor industry we found our perfect match with Nyvågar.
We have a personal interest in good healthy food and lifestyle, powder snow and in sharing our love for the nature and Lofoten.
All our guides and staff are hand picked and reflect our standard of professionalism. We also hand pick the objects and activities we offer, and we are passionate about human powered adventures.
You will meet a friendly and inspiring staff and other guests with plenty of stories, adventure spirits and competence.
FLIGHT OPTIONS International Travel: For all three options you will first book your airfare to Oslo (OSL) Option 1: Fly from Oslo to Harstad (EVE). Approx. 1,5 hours flight. Here you can pick up your rental car from Hertz and drive 2.5 hours to the Lofoten Ski Lodge. Flight carriers: Norwegian and SAS. Option 2: Fly directly Oslo (OSL) to Svolvaer (SJV). All these flights go through Bodø. This is the smoothest and nicest way to travel to Lofoten if you’re willing to spend a little extra money. Flight carriers: Widerøe and SAS. Option 3: Fly from Oslo (OSL) to Bodø (BOD). Approx. 1,5 hours flight. From Bodø to Svolvær you can choose between the public ferry «Hurtigbåten» or you can take the coastal steamer «Hurtigruten». Hurtigbåten leaves regularly at 5pm and the Hurtigruten leaves at 3pm. (double check the schedule for your day of departure) Flight carriers: Norwegian and SAS *** If you’re traveling domestically in Norway you can find cheap flights from many airports across the country to link up with any of the traveling options listed above.
The earlier the better, even a day or two prior to get settled into the new timezone is ideal. Programing will start mid-day.
Credit cards are easily accepted by all vendors, no cash is needed. * Fun Fact: We always travel with a small cash stash in case power goes out when in route and we want a sandwich ;)
Sign up directly on our page we accept many forms of credit card and deposit only to secure your spot, the remaining payment needs to be completed within 4 weeks of the start of the retreat to preserve your spot.
We no longer offer this option, as we found it attracted novice experience and we want the group to move smoothly on-hill together. If you have touring experience but need or want to rent gear I would suggest renting at home or reaching out to Northern Alpine Guides to see if they have Ski Touring gear available to rent. The northern alpine guides rent out packs with probe, shovels, beacons, touring ski + skins, etc on limited bases. We do potentially have solutions for a few split boarders in need to rent, reach out directly to us for more info.
When you book your spot, at check out, you can book a shuttle from/to SVJ airport to/from the lodge. *Pickups from Svolvaer Airport only.
The cheapest flights are to Evenes Airport and they have a bus that goes to Svolvaer daily. *bus fee and schedule unknown
Yes! When you sign up, you are invited to a private Facebook group and can coordinate traveling together.
Everyone will be in groups of their level for both the daily expeditions and surfing. It is important that you have enough expereince to flow with the group and we will reach out to you after you book to ensure you will be a good fit with the group, we will refund you if you are not a match for the skill level required to participate.
We will have surf instructors and mountain guides for rock climbing and touring. You must be able to navigate yourself with basic speed and confidence down medium to expert terrain slopes to ensure safety and ease of travel for your groups. You do not need to have deep backcountry experience, but must be able to follow the lead of your guide to keep you safe, so you can focus on the fun from there.
Absolutely! The majority of our campers fly solo, but they leave with some sincerely awesome new sisters. It is preferred if you do not come with a crew, as sometimes you have more difficulty integrating into the group. If you are a group, reach out and maybe we can accommodate a private offering for you. If you are coming with a friend, you are able to share a room together.
Evenes/Harstad/Narvik will be your cheapest flight option that is only a few hours from the Lofoten Ski Lodge. Flights around $109 one way from Oslo Airport with 2 shuttles to Svolvaer Airport daily. Svolvaer Airport direct will be the most convenient awesome option, but sometimes has to cancel flights due to weather and you will have to fly with SAS Airlines and partners.
We want you to have the best possible experience, feel safe but also get to push outside your comfort zone. That´s why we have partnered with Northern Alpine Guides , world-class mountain guides, who know these mountains better than anyone.
We prefer you fly solo or with a friend, so you move through the week with a more open mind, so we do not offer group discounts. We can do discounts if you want a private retreat booking, reach out for more info.
