Can you remember the last time you created your own art? Do you recall memories of getting fully lost in a game or an activity? And what about the last time you laughed so hard you peed yourself?
Adults tend to make excuses for why we don't have time to play, just for the sake of playing. We really look to children for inspiration because they are naturally drawn towards being in a playful state of mind. They tend to always play, wherever they are; in bathroom lines, in the 10 min break at recess or when they are brushing their teeth.
When children play it is not pre-set, they don't know what's going to happen in the story they are creating, so they tend to become totally immersed in the present moment. This state of being requires skill sets like trust, creativity, flow and spontaneity, something children seem to practice more than adults.
So, don't forget to adventure within, get weird and be whoever comes out if you express yourself in complete freedom. Dress exactly how you feel and make up a nick name for yourself. Allow yourself to connect with your inner child, get weird and surrender to the PRSNT MOMENT
